We use a number of third-party resources, and we have links to their privacy policies below.

And now for the details...

Collection of your Information

Site Visits and Tracking

Like many websites, we use Google Analytics to track website visitors and interaction. We use this service to learn how visitors interact with our site and to help use make our site more useful.

Google Analytics tracks information such as what browser you're using, what device you're using, and where you are geographically. None of this information makes you personally identifiable to us. Google Analytics does track your IP address which could identify you personally, but Google doesn't grant us access to that information. We consider Google Analytics to be a third-party data processor.

Google Analytics uses cookies for tracking, and you can learn more about that on their website.

Disabling cookies in your web browser will prevent Google Analytics from tracking your page visits, but it will likely break other aspects of this website. Many areas of this website need cookies enabled to function correctly.

If you decide to submit a comment on our blog, the name and email address you submit will be stored in our website's database, along with your computer's IP address, and timestamp for your comment. This information associated with the comment is used only on this website and is not forwarded to a third party data processor. The name you submitted with the comment is shown publicly along with a Gravatar image if you have an associated Gravatar profile.

Your comment and associated personal data will remain on this website until we decide to 1) remove the comment or 2) remove the blog post. If you want to have your comment deleted, please email us here: izzy@izzyvideo.com, using the email address associated with the comment.

Note: Of course it's up to you, but you might want to avoid including any personally identifiable information in the comment fields on this website.

If you join our email list, then the name and email address you include will be forwarded to Amazon's Simple Email Service, the email service we use. We consider Amazon to be a third-party data processor.

You can unsubscribe from email newsletters at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of an email you receive from us, or by requesting that we manually remove you using this email address: izzy@izzyvideo.com. If you request removal from the email list, please use the email address that's registered within the list to make the removal request.

Purchases

When you purchase a product or service we offer, we collect your personal information as part of the checkout process. We collect information such as your name, email address, and mailing address in order to complete the transaction.

When you enter credit card numbers for payment, that data is not stored on our servers or internal computer systems. It is forwarded and stored securely on our payment processors' servers.
