The Slider Widget in Motion 5
Published on June 21, 2016
This video demonstrates a real-life situation where you might want to use a Slider Widget in Motion 5.
I ran into this when I was creating a template recently. I think it's a great example of how to use this kind of widget, so I decided to make this video and share it with you.
Here's the basic workflow:
- Create a Rig in your Motion project, because a Rig is basically the container for widgets.
- Add a Slider Widget to the Rig.
- Connect the parameters you want to control to the Slider Widget. (There are several ways to do this as you'll see in the video.)
- Adjust the settings for the parameters associated with the different Snapshots in the widget.
That's the basic workflow, and you can see the details in the video.
I'm a huge fan of Motion. I'm constantly blown away by it, especially knowing it has such a low price.
Anyway, I hope you find the video helpful!
